Our Programs & Projects

The O.L.E.N.A project addresses the emotional and psychological aftermath of the 2023 Maui wildfires by fostering holistic healing through Native Hawaiian cultural practices. Grounded in the belief that reconnecting with the land (ʻāina) and traditional healing methods (lāʻau lapaʻau) is vital, O.L.E.N.A aims to restore balance and well-being to affected communities. By integrating these cultural elements, the project provides a nurturing space for individuals to heal emotionally and psychologically. This approach not only promotes personal recovery but also strengthens community bonds and cultural resilience. Through O.L.E.N.A, participants find solace and renewal, honoring the deep connection between land, culture, and health.
